Large rendition in oil on canvas by Florida based artist Ralph Hillbom(1894-1977). Hillbom was born in Woodstock,NY but is most well known for his participation in the St. Augustine FL Art Colony where one of his paintings titled "Lost Colony" is in the Lightner Museum. He was also an illustrator for the St. Augustine Record. This coastal scene is of Bass Rocks,MA and was done when he called Akron, OH his home. The painting is in excellent condition and in its original oak painted frame. It measures 24" x 30" unframed and 28" x 34"framed.
