Heavy gauge silver fish slice made by renowned Birmingham silversmith and inventor Edward Thomason in 1830. Very nicely designed chased center fish motif. The original handle has a side line separation that does not affect the tight handle in any way. Otherwise the piece is in fine condition with only the scuffs associated with 184 years of usage. The slice measures 12" long and weighs 6 ounces.
