Each features the bird sitting on a bed of green painted shredded clay to simulate foliage and have puce decorated wings with gilt highlights, also a gilt line to the base. A nice addition for the collector of inkwells or those of Staffordshire animals or figures and one of the scarcer animal inkwells to be found.
