1924 vintage blue and silver beaded purse. Silver frame is unmarked and features beautiful roses and leaves on a scrolling design frame. The back of the frame does not feature the roses with the leaves. The clasp features two glass? sapphire stones and snaps together nicely. The purse is beaded in beautiful blue bugle beads with a silver bead in between. It appears that there is two layers of this beading. I tried to show this in one of the pictures. When you move the top layer of beading in separate directions you can see more beading underneath. I believe there are a few places near the top where they may be some beading missing although it is difficult to tell. The beaded fringe appears to be all in tact and is 1 1/4" long. The lining is intake and features a rosebud and edging and a small pocket. Inside the pocket is a small piece of paper that reads made by me in 1924 G.K. I do not know if the chain handle is original to the purse as it appears to be brass however, the entire purse frame and chain could use a good cleaning. Overall, the purse is in beautiful condition for age and I did not have the silver tested. Purse measures 8" by 6" with a 1 1/4" fringe. Purse handle measures 19"
