A Japanese Vintage WWII Army Sake Cup, the 2nd Sino Japanese War. The Second Sino-Japanese War from July 7, 1937 – September 9, 1945 was a military conflict fought primarily between the Republic of China and the Empire of Japan from 1937 to 1945. A beautiful and probably hard to find very decorative sake cup. This is a vintage WWII Japanese Imperial Army Sake cup, which was made as a commemoration of the triumphant return from the 2nd Sino Japanese War. On the upper side, " Shina Jihen Gaisen Kinen" is written. This is a commemoration of the triumphant return from the 2nd Sino Japanese War. It is beautifully decorated with over glaze enamels in thick chrysanthemum flowers and paulownia. As shown in the pictures, it's good condition with no chips and no cracks.
