From an individual in Tokyo, Japan; a very nice design and well made tea cup saucers for Sencha tea. Great style. This is made by an metal work artist. I am not familiar with the method but there are many in Japan. Then, they are painted. Age is unknown but there is minimal age wear. It is possible they were re-painted. Wonderful iron material and color. This size especially made for the size of Sencha tea cups. However they are large enough to use for somethng else. They have the potter or makers slash mark on the bottom, a tradition from the 19th century.
SIZE: Width 4.21" square or 10.7cms each
