This Chinese vintage hexagonal pottery vase is gently covered in the popular namako glaze. also known by the term sea cucumber glaze. I have seen many pieces made of this type glaze such as vases and bonsai pots, and this is one of the more perfect and prettiest namako glazes I have seen. The primary colors are a very lovely blue on brown. The pottery is handmade and hand formed into a nicely shaped six-sided or hexagonal vase. The body in two walls and the lip and bottom are outward bent as well. Two nicely shaped keyhole handles are applied. The bottom has six nicely shaped feet. It is very clean, The seller from Japan did not know the age and it is not signed but in my opinion, it looks to be 20-40 years old. It is in near perfect condition with no cracks and there is an outer chip on one foot. However, because the feet are made inwards of the bottom rim it is not noticeable and it sits perfectly flat. I do not know much about Chinese vessels antiques or vintage, but just though this vase and glaze very beautiful.
