This Japanese vintage faux gold and pearl brooch or pin is one of six I collected in a group of vintage costume type jewelry from a lady in Japan. This one in gold plate I believe and enameled in yellow. A group of five small faux pearls make up the center of the flower. I am not sure what type of flower with four petals, I thought it was a four leaf clover except for the color. I do not know the age, but believe by appearance they range from the 1940's to the 1970's. This is a very pretty piece in excellent condition. I do not know what it is made from. The gold is probably plated or a mixed metal. These type pins are used for everyday wear, including the office, or wedding accessories. It is in excellent condition no scratches and the pin works fine like new. This piece is a little over 1 1/2" or 3.81 cms each direction.
