A very attractive Mid century hexagon cut blue topaz ring. Circa 1960s
The light blue topaz is set in 6 claws, in a high coronet above an interesting ball like detailing.
The ring is 9 k light rose gold (hallmarked). The band is a bark inspired texture, which artfully reflects the light. It is 4 mm at the shoulders.
The topaz is 9 mm across the ring, at its widest point. The gemstone is estimated as 2.5 carats in its setting.
This ring would make a wonderful statement piece, the blue and rose gold combination is very pleasing.
