A 14 k gold (hallmarked 585), and silver, European diamond cluster ring, which is probably of Dutch origin.
The central rose cut diamond is 3.5 mm ( 5/32 inch) diameter . It is a golden brown color, and set in silver. There are 9 , 1.5 mm rose cut clear diamonds, set in a floral inspired silver setting.
The diamonds are all backed with silver foil, typical in Georgian jewelry.
The band is 14 k gold, with detailing typical of the era. It is 3 mm (1/8 inch) at the shoulders, tapering to 1.5 mm (3/50 inch). The shoulders have silver leaf detailing.
The cluster setting is 9.7 mm (2/5 inch) across.
The condition of this ring is excellent, considering its age.
There are also later hallmarks, for 1958, and KLUM.
