Our Service Pledge

It is our pledge and our pleasure to serve you the best we can by offering quality items shipped at a reasonable rate and ALWAYS with an online smile! During the months of April and May our online manager can be reached by email after 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. In June the online representative can reached during working hours by phone (10 to 5:00) or via email all day Monday through Wednesday, and Thursday through Sunday via email only. Emails and phone calls will be answered and returned as soon as possible.

NOTE: Due to the fact that the USPS cannot seem to deliver a package without breaking the item within, all breakable
items will be double-boxed. Due to the added weight, the postage may be higher than expected. I have recently had several items marked 'fragile' broken and I feel, to be fair to the buyer and to keep them from being disappointed, this is something I have to do. At times this can add up to 2 lbs to the weight. Thank you for understanding.

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

All online sales and shipments are handled by the Online Sales Department, which consists mostly of one individual. In the months of April & May, and September & October (while she words a seasonal job), the Online Sales person is available Monday through Saturday at all times via email and in the evenings by phone. Responses will be sent in the evenings and for the most part, shipments will occur on Friday/Saturday. In the summer months (June, July, and August) the online sales person is available Monday through Saturday via email and can take calls Monday through Wednesday. Messages or questions may be left via voicemail for the online sales person at 937-657-5203. This is a personal cell phone, so she will get back to you. Questions and emails will be answered as quickly as possible. Items ship as soon as possible, usually within 2 to 3 days of payment having been received and almost always on Friday or Saturday. We at David Fair on the Square are very particular when it comes to shipping. Breakable items are double-boxed and all items are insured for actual value. We practice Earth-friendly packaging so we do reuse both boxes and packing (peanuts, mailers, and other). Your item will be shipped via the USPS unless another shipping company is requested. Items post ASAP after full payment is received. All items will be insured unless the customer requests otherwise. We cannot be held responsible for the safe shipment or delivery of uninsured items. These items will ship at the customer's responsibility. *A note concerning overseas or out of the USA shipping - Shipping to other countries has become very expensive, and there are times when the nature of the item being shipped demands a larger box or more packing than is allowed for First Class International. From experience International Priority runs from $20 to over 50 dollars for an item over 12 inches in length or more than 4 lbs.*
