These earrings look great with casual wear or business attire. I believe that they are made of red sponge coral and sterling silver. The silver is in a pebbled pattern that has been oxidized to create blackened areas to contrast with the silver. The earrings measure almost 1 inch across at the base and almost 1 inch high. A sterling backplate holds the decoration to the coral. There are kidney wires attached to the earrings. Both earrings are marked 925, and they are in very good vintage condition, with a slight ripple in one backplate.
