Hair barrettes are useful for lots of different hair styles. This barrette seems most suited to the back of a pony tail or an up-do, as it can slide down from straight hair.
This goldplated metal barrette is in the shape of a simple circle. The circumference of the circle is 1.75 inches, and the catch mechanism extends beyond the circle. The catch is a double bar that closes over a knob. It closes securely, although when open, the arm wobbles. There is minimal wear to the gold plating.
I will combine purchases to save on shipping fees.
