Exquisite Vintage Floral Needlepoint and Tiny Black Glass Beaded Evening Bag Purse, Made in Hong Kong

This exquisite evening bag was made in Hong Kong exclusively for Casa Cavanagh in San Juan Puerto Rico, according to the label on it. It is covered in black micro glass beads front, back, bottom and handle, except for the front section where there is a flower decoration done in fine needlepoint. The flowers have been beautifully completed in shaded tones of yellow, pink, red, blue, purple and white. There is an old fashioned rose, a lily and a tulip, among sprays of other flowers and leaves.

A heavy gold plated lid and scalloped frame keep the bag securely closed. The purse measures app. 7.5 x 5.5 inches, and it is app. 1.75 inches at the bottom. The handle has a drop of app. 4.5 inches. The bag has been lined in black satin, and there is one open inner pocket. This evening purse is in excellent vintage condition. It will be carefully boxed for safe shipping.
