This lovely, well sculpted daffodil brooch is from Marcel Boucher's flower of the month series. The daffodil was the flower for March.
It is made of brushed gold plated metal, with a cultured pearl in its corolla. It measures app. 2.62 x 1.5 inches, and it is marked 8369P BOUCHER preceded by the copyright symbol and JONQUILLE (French for daffodil) further up the stem. This brooch is in very good vintage condition, with some craquelature in the nacre of the pearl. It is a classic design that that will never go out of style.
