Here is a very rare Find! A Demi - Tasse Cup & Saucer stamped with the Luneville backstamp printed mark C. 1880-1920. Featuring a Thistle and The Cross of Lorraine in blue transferware pattern. The set is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. The saucer is approx. 5" across and the cup approx. 2.5" tall.
Note: The Thistle =symbol of Scotland. The Cross of Lorraine= The Cross of Lorraine is a part of the heraldic arms of Lorraine in Eastern France. Originally held to be the symbol of Joan of Arc.
