A Lovely Glass English Crepe Stone Bar pin featuring 4 Glass Crepe Stone Dangles. In Excellent Vintage condition with original clasp which is fold over Simple Hook Style. Set on Brass and measuring about 2 1/2" by 3/4" counting dangles. Would make a wonderful addition to any collection as this pin has been lovingly stored and displays wonderfully ! ( Patent for crepe stone was issued December 25,1883 to Fowler Brothers of Providence , Rhode Island. Widely distributed by wholesalers of the time it was marketed as such since any item from England was considered a treasure to most Victorian Americans'.......Also it is interesting to note that this type of glass was originally marketed as English Crape Stone Jewelry.
