This old beer stein shows decorative view and states Nurnberg and states Bier ist gesund zu jeder stund ' ( Whatever time of day it is, a glass of beer will do you good ) . Featuring a hinged pewter style lid and decorative handle. The number 1093 is impressed on the side of the mug under the handle. Measures about3 inches across the bottom by 5 1/2 inches tall not counting lid or 7 1/2 inches with lid closed in place . The bottom features an impressed or incised makers stamp and Western Germany.

In good vintage condition with age appropriate wear no cracks , hairlines or chips that I can find.
