Sapphire and diamond panel ring dating to the Art Deco era. Oval cut sapphires are set in a geometric design in a rectangle shaped dress ring. The largest oval is in the centre, framed by milgrain beading with four oval cut sapphires set on a diagonal around it. Small roughly cut diamonds are bead set between the sapphires. Milgrain beading lines the entire top while the edges dip in slightly around the gemstones. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.
