On offer is this Antique English sterling silver (.925)(hallmarked late 1800's) and enamel shield standard of Queen Victoria Regina, 1837-1887.
This was the queen's Golden Jubilee(50 years as monarch, queen of the English Empire). The piece is fully hallmarked, Anchor(Birmingham, lion passant, letter (m), and makers mark R&M. Closes with a C clasp. Overall condition is very good, one silver ball missing from the very top of the brooch(central location and some tiny nibbles from the enameling on the standard, but the coloring is still represented. Wonderful addition to a QVR collection as this is the Golden Jubilee. Arrives in gift box/pouch.
