Her expert painting of features include; feathered brows, appealing blue sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, peaches and cream colored cheeks, a pronounced philtrum with a petite closed mouth. She is on her original factory finish 8 ball jointed body with straight wrists with red line emphasis on fingers and toes. Her stringing is firm. She has her original Kestner pate marked D14. The bisque has been lit and guaranteed to be free of cracks, or restorations.
She wears a stunning Robins egg blue drop waist couture dress with matching bonnet in excellent condition. This gorgeous satin couture costume was made especially for her with professional workmanship and attention to detail. It is a one of a kind richly constructed ensemble for this beautiful antique Kestner that accentuates the color of her pretty blue eyes. The Juliette sleeves are enhanced with ecru lace at the cuffs. Alternating layers of ruching cover the bodice with unique crochet trim. There is flowered embroidered tulle lace accentuating the lower half with a bow in the back. The complimentary matching bonnet that frames her face is worn over her antique human hair wig. Her undergarments include her original teddy with pantaloons, eyelet slip with antique shoes. She presents beautifully in her attire and one of J.D. Kestner's finest dolls with classic modeling. Circa 1820-1938
