We are pleased to introduce a palatial French gilded bronze figural marble mantel clock, c.1880. This impressive piece consists of two sections. The marble base that holds the movement, made of white Carrara marble and gilded bronze decorations, measuring 9 inches tall, 20 inches wide and 10 inches deep. Overall height of clock is 31 inches. The bronze statue is signed by MOREAU. As you know, MATHURIN MOREAU is a listed artist of 19th century France. The quality of this particular piece, the subject matter and gilding is superb.
