This is a pretty demitasse cup and saucer from Kaiser, Germany. It was designed exclusively for Danbury Mint. Besides a gold trim, the pattern consists of tall grass. The cup is 2 1/4" H and the saucer is 4 1/2" in diameter.
It is part of the "Great Porcelain Houses of the World" introduced by Danbury Mint in 1983, a collection of cups and saucers from different world manufacturers. Danbury Mint was founded in 1969, in Westport, Connecticut, and they market a variety of collectibles.
The demitasse cup and saucer are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
