A pair of celluloid figures of George and Martha Washington made in Japan sometime in the 1920's to 30's. Both measures 7" tall, 2" wide, and 2" in length. Both made up of molded celluloid and the arms are strung up to the body loosely. There is an embossed "japan" mark on the upper back. On the bottom of the feet is a marked sticker. Martha has a slight dent in the nose but otherwise both do not have any cracks or other damage to the celluloid. Both are an excellent display piece that can be used for the fourth of july celebrations.
