An early Kestner china doll made in Germany around the 1840's to 1850's. Measures 18" tall, 6" wide, and 3" in length. Made up of a porcelain china head on plate, cloth body, and porcelain legs/arms. Head is in excellent shape with painted facial features such as blue eyes, brows, lips, and rose tinted cheeks. Porcelain arms go up to the elbows while the rest is stuffed cloth. Legs go all the way up to the outfits pants. Shoes and socks are painted on. There is some damage to the legs. Outfit is a nice black velvet ensemble with lace trimming and brass buttons. It is a nice china doll perfect for any collection.
