Delightful double blossom necklace from the 1930s or 1940s, strung on a slightly spring-y flattened snake chain necklace. In remarkable condition, these beautiful flowers have each been assembled from two intricate cast metal forms that have been riveted together, washed in gold, and then decorated with clear rhinestones. What makes this necklace so delightful, however, are the colorful stamens bursting out of each flower - gilded wire topped with small colorful glass beads. This is a pendant-style necklace, suspended on a snake chain necklace that measures about 16" long. The pendant is 3" across at its widest point. Excellent condition.
