These delightful Fabulous Fifties confetti earrings feature silver glitter strips and crescent faux mother-of-pearl confetti, embedded in clear plastic resin over a black background. The backs feature glued-on silvertone ear clips. They are very similar to a pair of earrings featured on page 125 of 'Mid-Century Plastic Jewelry' by Susan Maxine Klein. Ms. Klein indicates that the featured earrings were likely made by Sobel Brothers of Perth Amboy, NJ; perhaps this pair was, as well. Unsigned. Each measures 1.25" across; excellent condition. There appears to be a bit of crackle design in the center of each earring; this may be original or a sign of age. Either way, the crackle adds to the festive design of these ear clips.
