This brooch sports a simple starburst pattern, one that resembles a multi-petaled flower, yet is enameled in a way that a real flower would never be. Each "petal" actually is a small leaf, in fact . . . some leaves are enameled brown, alternating with textured goldtone leaves, while the innermost row is all brown. The center is a cross-hatched enameled dome. Probably from the 1970s, or perhaps the 1980s, as the enameling appears a bit translucent (a somewhat newer style than that found midcentury). Marked "Trifari (C)" on reverse. Excellent condition; 2" across.
