A small but striking pin clip, in silvertone, made by Trifari (signed on clip mechanism) Two bunches of tiny blue flowers are bound up, along with their leaves, in a red bow. Tiny clear rhinestones decorate the leaves and bow, and center each flower.
This pin (fur) clip was designed by Joseph Wuyts, who did not design many items for Trifari, but those he did are imaginative! This clip carries Design Patent number 119,836, issued April 2, 1940. It's not large - 1.75" tall - but it is just the right size for a suit lapel. Very good condition, with some enamel loss, chiefly on the leaves.
