Today the firm still maintains it's ranking as one of the best silversmiths in the world. This magnificent serving platter in 950 sterling silver is a stunning example of the outstanding craftsmanship of the firm.
This is a amazing 3-piece set. A magnificent example of the elegance and sophistication of 19th Century France, typically enjoyed by the French aristocracy. The vegetable server measures roughly 31 cm. across to the tips of the handles, the interior has a diameter of 22 cm., it stands approximately 18 cm. high to the top of the lid, the sterling silver interior is roughly 6 cm deep. The combined weight for the 3 pieces is an amazing 1.760 kilograms. Each of the 3 pieces bears the French government's Head of the Minerva-1 hallmark certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver and the Odiot sterling silver hallmark.
