This glass, sterling capped bottle was utilized in a myriad of ways, from holding powder puffs to dispensing facial cream. Made of fluted, clear glass, the bottle is 1-3/8 inches in diameter, 5 inches in circumference, and 5 inches tall. Its crowning glory, the round top, is marked Birmingham (English), with the anchor icon. Its maker's mark is D & F, which stands for Deakin and Francis, a concern founded in 1786. The marks also reveal a date of 1921, with an assay mark of 925/1000 sterling. This nearly antique piece is in beautiful condition. This is the perfect stocking stuffer!
