Holding this exquisite Eisenberg fur clip is akin to handling a glowing piece of lace! In the shape of a rounded edge diamond, it is 3 inches at its widest point and 3-1/2 inches long. The top of the piece, which is constructed in silver tone metal, features a large, very brilliant, white, pear shaped rhinestone. Directly below this stone is a large square on, tilted on the bias. Branching out on either side, next to and above the foregoing is a series of emerald cut white rhinestones. Outlining the pear stone are two sweeping curves of more of the emerald cut stones. Coming down in a straight line, directly under the largest pear stone, is a smaller on of the same shape, tip pointed upward. Below same is a medium chaton, capped off with a round cut stone, at the very bottom. The smaller pear stone has a spray of four more chatons, set two on either side. Inside of the borders of clip are sinuous lines, filled in with smaller stones, of varying shapes. The reverse of the clip has a typical hinged piece, with serrated edges, which hold on to the material, to which it is attached. The top of the hinge is inscribed "Eisenberg". This mark is indicative of a 1945 to 1958 time line. The fur clip is in excellent vintage condition, with all the quality one expects from Eisenberg.
