Beauty incarnate would describe this Eisenberg Original, circa 1935-1945. It has it all, the color, the brilliance and the glamour. Remember these spectacular pieces were actually stolen off the dresses they were meant to enhance! This pin designed in silver tone metal, with curves and curls, featuring white and absolutely yummy deep yellow rhinestones. It measures a generous 3 and 1/4 inches wide and 2 and 1/2 inches long. The deep yellow/ marigold hued stones form almost a spray border, with three on the left and five on the right side of the brooch. In no way are these stones shy , as you cannot miss them from across the room! The five yellow stones, all of which are prong set, lay across a three quarter circle of the gleaming white stones. This part of the piece is embellished with three "ribbons" encircling the bottom half. All of the white stones are channel set. The inward curl of the tail of the three quarter circle gives on to a smaller spray of the marigold stones, but these are cabochons and are bezel set.

Opposite the above noted spray are three more curls of the channel set white stones. One leans to the right (viewing head on), ending in a straight point. The second appears as a question mark and swirls to the left. The third, directly underneath the second, has a split head, resembling a tulip. All of the stones are closed backed.

The reverse of the brooch has a horizontal straight pin, terminating in a roll over safety clasp. To the right of same, at the hinge of the pin, is found the "Eisenberg Original Mark". This piece is in excellent vintage condition.
