Incredible glass swirl head on this hat pin! The solid glass piece is chock a block with rich hues of green, amber, black, lavender and blue. Only lovely glass can be so imbued with such a mixture! The glass sphere is 1 and 1/2 inches in circumference. Its steel pin shank is 7 and 1/2 inches long. The shank is nestled in a brass cup finding, with a small ball underneath. Mostly likely a transitional hat pin, moving from the Victorian to Edwardian era, based on the pin shank length. The hat pin is in lovely antique condition.

Take this one home with confidence that it is authentic and in excellent antique condition. It emanates from a decades long collection and will be a great addition to a new one.

This hat pin is from Charlotte's personal collection, which was developed over three decades. She has belonged to the American Hat Pin Society for decades, to continue to learn and associate with fellow collectors. It is time for some of these treasures to move on to new houses!
