You can be just as lucky with the faux green jade of this bracelet as you can with the real deal! This is an unusual piece, which features two panels of celluloid, in imitation of green jade, down to the striations one would fine in an actual piece of the gem.
These two panels are connected via three squares of very intricate pierced brass. Each of the squares a central design of crisscrossed lines, with a symbol looking akin to a fleur de lis, at the top and bottom. This gives on to a sinuous vine and floral pattern. Each of the five panels is one and one half inch wide, while the whole bracelet is six and three quarters inches long. The bracelet comes together with a brass curved plate, which fits in a slot.
The construction of this piece is of very high quality, even though the bracelet is actually very light to wear. It is in excellent vintage condition, circa 1920's-1930's. Be the lucky lady to take this one home!
