Such desirable arm candy! This fab 1960's purse, brought to you by Style Craft of Miami, is designed in grey/black, threaded with a swirl of silver. That is the beauty of Lucite, the ability to create interesting coloring effects. This great example is 8 in wide and 5 in deep. The handle is 16 in long and 3/4 in wide.
It is in a typical box shape, with the handle being riveted into the sides. The top lifts up and is hinged to the body of the purse. In the center of the top is the clasp, which is a stretched out round, with pierced sides. In the middle of this is a faux mobe' style white pearl. This in turn is bordered by small, round, faux white pearls, with two larger ones stationed at the East and West ordinal points. There a stud riveted to the bottom portion of the bag, which holds the clasp in place.
There are the expected light surface scratches. Otherwise, this purse is in excellent vintage condition. A great piece of Lucite "art", but oh so useful still!
