This " I am such a lady" handbag is a beige color. It has been embossed to resemble alligator, which was such a hot material for hand bags of this era, late 1950's to early 1960's. The shape is a square, that has been curved on the sides. It measures 9 inches wide (at the widest point) and 8-3/4 inches long x 3 inches in depth. It has a single strap, attached on gold tone metal hinges.

The opening of the bag is at the bottom with a magnetic snap closure. Lifting up the flap opens the bag to the inside. The interior is a very pale beige, with one open zipper pocket. The interior is extremely clean. The back of the purse has a pocket which also has the magnetic snap closure. The purse is marked "Ann Klein for Calderon". The snap closure is marked Patent Pending 4021891. Need a gently cleaning. Will clean at buyer request before shipping.
