Kicky, fun, sparkly-and, oh yeah, and it is Chanel. Chanel created a series of lapel pins, many of which were designed to be "vanity" items in miniature. In this case, the piece is designed as a hand mirror. The "mirror" is made of black resin/Lucite and it measures 1/16 in shy of 2 in long and 1 in wide (at its widest point). The "top" of the "mirror" has an oval shape, while the "handle" is as would be on a normal size one.

The black resin/Lucite serves as a "frame" for the "mirrored" part of the piece of the oval, not being glass, but resin/Lucite that is reflective. The center of the "mirror" has a 1/4 in wide entwined CC logo, in a circle, and inscribed in black against the silver coloration. The "frame" is 1/16 in wide and is set with five itty bitty rhinestones, in crystal and red. Descending to the "handle", it has a trio of the brilliants, and then a straight line of same.

The reverse of the piece has a stem, to which a gold tone metal companion "push piece" is used to attach the pin to a lapel. The back has an oval cartouche, which says Made in Italy, and has the word Chanel inscribed, flanked on one side by the copyright symbol and the other with the trademark symbol. It also carries the indication that the year was 04 and the season Autumn.
