Simply stupendous is the only way to describe this Haskell confection of white milk glass, coral colored glass, and gold tone metal-it is 54 in long! Created of a strand of white milk glass beads, about 10mm in size, with "sisters" in about a 2-3mm size, serving as rondels. As a fillip to the rondels, each of the smaller milk glass beads are capped at either end with a tiny gold metal bead.
The stand outs on this piece are the eight stations found along the white strand. Each of these has a center of a pink/orange coral colored glass bead, being a whopping approximate 22mm in size! Each of these beads is encapsulated on each end by an umbrella shaped, florentine finished "crown". Each "umbrella" has six mussel shell shaped pieces which clasp the coral colored bead. The florentine finish really catches the light!
The necklace has a simple jump ring clasp. Attached to the clasp is a metal, oval cartouche, imprinted with MIRIAM HASKELL. The necklace is in pristine vintage condition, circa 1950's. Knotted, double, or full length, this is just such a versatile piece that it will be your go-to!
