Historic Gorham cast Louisiana souvenir sterling silver spoon. The large tree in the bowl is the Evangeline oak in St Martinsville, Louisiana. TECHE is engraved on the face of the spoon and Evangeline is the woman saluting on the top handle. Teche is the name of the Bayou that runs through the city. There is a gold wash on the face of the spoon. The spoon measures 5 5/8" long by 1 1/2" wide and weighs .86 ounces. It is marked Lion, Anchor, G, Sterling. It is in good condition.
