Oak Side Chair by the Hunzinger Furniture Co made about 1890 with recent red ribbed velvet upholstery. There is no label on this chair but the Victorian style and details are indicative of Hunzinger. I believe the upholstery is less that 3 years ago and shows no wear what so ever. The round oak frame is completely carved with rope twist accents giving this chair a very unique look. The chair is very solid ,probably having been re glued and re finished before the recent upholstery job. The springs in the seat are in excellent condition. The front legs end in brass claw foot holding a round wooden ball ( this is a characteristic of a Hunzinger piece of furniture). This chair will make a statement in any room. It stands 46 inches tall by 24 1/4 inches wide and 28 inches deep. The seat is 16 1/2 inches wide by 18 inches long. The size of the chair requires a blanket wrap shipper...please inquire for help in selecting a shipper.
