This sparkling original Art Deco engagement ring, finely crafted in platinum during the 1930s, features a bright and beautiful .40 carat European-cut diamond. The diamond has an approximate GIA color and clarity of I/VS2 and is set with an illusion-style head. The diamond shines atop a quintessential Art Deco mounting embellished with 22 glistening single-cut diamonds. The center diamond is set slightly higher with classic claw prongs. Two side diamonds approximately .06 carats each are bead set in marquise shapes within the accent diamonds. The total diamond weight is approximately .90 carats. The ring is not stamped but tests entirely as platinum. The ring weighs 2.2 dwt and is a size 6 ½ that can be sized. This stone has not been graded by GIA but an appraisal by a graduate gemologist can be done upon request.
