A very Striking and unusual Ring from the 1940's, some call rings of this sort Cocktail Rings, some Bow Rings, A striking composition with a 8x10 mm rectangular Mozambique Garnet of about 3 and a half carats as the centre piece, The ring is completely asymmetrical and the design around the centre stone is composed of applied white Gold decorative elements which are supplemented by diamonds, 8 in total of approximately 2 points each, total diamond weight .16 carat. The diamonds are of medium quality and consistent with the diamond cutting techniques of the age they were made,It is 100 % hand made. there is a slight defect in the manufacture that appears as a lack of good finishing just near the centre stone. The ring is not hallmarked and is acid tested for 14 karat gold.
