Adorable 7 1/2" vintage Vogue Toddles girl composition doll dating from 1940s - 1943. Her head is marked Vogue as well as Doll Co. on her back. Like other Toddles dolls of this time period, she's wearing her original wig over slightly molded hair. Lovely blue painted eyes, brownish black lashes and light brown eyebrows with a closed pink mouth.
She's wearing two tagged Vogue outfits. Her dress is tagged Vogue Dolls, Inc. and is a pale blush white cotton sundress with pink stitching, lace trim and a ribbon tie back. Her flared overcoat is tagged Vogue Dolls, Inc. Medford, Mass.U.S.A. Reg. U.S. Pat. Off and is of the same blush white made of a textured cotton also featuring the pink stitching with rick-rack trim. Her coat closes with an eye/loop at neckline. She's wearing pink panties underneath, cream socks with black front snap shoes and a pink ribbon and lace trimmed bonnet.
Her composition body is in overall good shape with 1 crack down neckline (see pic) and some smaller minor cracks / crazing. If you pull her legs on the backside there are small mold? holes hidden by the hip sockets. 1 small raised edge on right arm and minor chipping to feet. Please view images closely.
