I bought this adorable pair together and I think they should stay together as they have been all of their lifes!
Approx. 5" tall, both are the same mold number, hard to make out on back, but looks like 147 or 149. Legs are marked 147. No markings on the arms. Adorable chunky five piece bodies. They are wearing what appears to be their original clothing. Tops are sewn on, so I didn't remove for pictures, but I have checked torso's and arms and they look fine. Both are wearing reddish brown mohair wigs. They are very firmly glued down and I don't want to remove them. I did check heads carefully for damage and found none. One doll has sleep eyes, the other's are not sleeping, but that may be due to being in a stuck position inside. Looking at the magnified pictures, I should have cleaned their eyes out better!
An unusual mold number, I can'f find who the maker is. Dolls were black lighted to check for damage. I thought I picked up a hidden repair on the leg of one doll, but I tried to remove paint with paint remover and nothing came off. So, I believe it was a factory flaw and fired in.
I can see these dolls in a doll house play room surrounded by their toys!
