This is the perfect bonnet for the primitive cloth dolls, such as Izannah Walker or Columbian Dolls!

It is made of a small scale pink/peach checked homespun cotton with channel-stitching around the brim. It has the gathered long fabric at the back of the bonnet to protect the neck from the sun. Original same fabric ties at the sides. There is a loss of stitched gathering on the left back, see picture. The brim measures approx. 8" from tie to tie around the inside. There is some fading as you can see in the pictures, but really a charming, early bonnet for your early doll.
