Presenting a suite consisting of an X - wide Old Pawn Native American hand Pink Pastelite Plume Agate and Sterling Silver cuff with matching ring circa 1940's.
This gorgeous suite features a X-Large Sterling Silver cuff and ring with a central Pink Pastelite Plume Agate cabochon with veins of plumb, gold and onyx. These agates are found in the southwest, most likely the Yavapai or Mohave Counties of Arizona.
The cuff has a 45mm x 36mm x 10mm central bezel set Pink Pastelite Plume Agate cabochon set in Sterling Silver and is accented with a twisted rope decor and measures 2.6" x 2" at its face. The cuff continues with a triple shank with the top and bottom triangular and the center in a heavy twisted rope style. The cuff measures 1" at the shank and tapers to .5“. The interior diameter is 2.125“ with a 1“ opening in the back. The shank is adustable to accomidate a smaller or larger wrist. The cuff weighs a very hefty 59.7 grams.
The matching size 8.5 ring has a 34mm x 21mm x 8mm central bezel set Pink Pastelite Plume Agate cabochon set in Sterling Silver and is accented with a twisted rope decor and measures 1.5" x1" at its face. The base is a .375“triple shank merging into solid .25“ band. The ring weighs 16.2 grams. The ring is a size 8.5 and is sizeable up or down.
This magnificent suite is in excellent vintage condition with no blemishes or repairs. It is quite heavy for a total of 75.9 grams. There are visible pictorial hallmarks on both pieces, but the artist is unknown. A Presidium Gem tester is used to verify all gemstones. JSP testing solution is used to verify precious metals. This item was microscopically examined. The stones were acetone tested for color fastness
