This is a highly collectible and wearable piece . It works for casual as well as formal attire. A tasteful piece that is always timeless with a beauty that never fades.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no blemishes, chips or repairs. It is visibly hallmarked "Don Chee Sterling " for 925/1000 grade Silver. JSP testing solution was used to verify all precious metals. A Presidium Gem tester was used to verify the gemstone. The gemstone was acetone tested for color fastness. This item was examined using ultraviolet light and a microscope. The gemstone is Natural not Lab Created and most likely waxed for a polished finish. This is considered a normal treatment and is permanent.
Don Chee’s stamp on two lines was used in 1977 and soon after he changed his stamp to Donald Chee all one line. Early on he was the Silversmith for Hill's Turquoise. He is from a big family ( Begay and Chee) of highly regarded Native American Silversmiths.
