Mazer Brothers produced high end elegantly designed jewelry from 1926 until 1951. They began to make costume jewelry in 1930 and their hallmark was “MAZER”. Later in 1946 the brother disbanded and Joseph Mazer went into business for himself with the “JOMAZ” hallmark. Marcel Boucher was a designer for Mazer until 1937 when he went out on his own and started “Boucher”.
This brooch is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, chips or repairs. All of the pastes are sparkling, accounted for and original to the piece. It is visibly hallmarked “MAZER Sterling”. JSP testing solution was used to verify the precious metals.
