Presenting a signed panel bracelet from Tane of Mexico with Faux Turquoise cabochons in a Alpaca setting circa 1950 - 1960.
This bracelet features six 1.125" x 1" hinged panels with 15mm x 10 mm turquoise resin cabochons in a Alpaca setting. The bracelet measures 7" x 1" x .5". The bracelet closes securely with a box clasp.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, breaks or repairs. It is visibly hallmarked Hecho en Mexico in a circle with a eagles head in the center with the number 71 and the initial AR. This hallmark was found from 1953 - 1979.
Tane Orfebres has been a prominent silver house in Mexico City since the early 1950's. Founded by Joseph and Rosa Viler and Pedro Leites Tane makes and sells fine silver work, including some hand wrought reproductions of some of Mexico’s most famous pieces. Most item marked with the Tane hallmark also carry the mark of the silversmith.
